We Filipino's surely loves to eat. Any food related business will catch the attention of the Filipinos. Food industry has grown so much better because of technology. Thanks to the help of technology, food service has become easier and efficient - from waiting too long at a regular restaurant to waiting for a minute or so in a fast food chain.

Fast food chain made a major impact on serving food. There are many fast food chain in the world. Here are the two leading companies in the fast food industry here in the Philippines, and our experiences among them.

McDonald's

In year 1955, Ray Kroc started it all when he bought the franchise of a small burger joint owned by brothers Dick and Mac McDonald. He opened his first restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois and five years later, he bought the exclusive rights of the name, McDonald’s. Here in the Philippines, Mcdonald's strated to open in year 1981 in Morayta. Today, there are about 325 branches all over the country. They are well-know for their cheap and good taste products.

Earlier,we ate at McDonald's in Manggahan, Gen. Trias Cavite to try some of their products.

By the time we entered the store the crew politely greeted us. And when we are waiting on the queue, we noticed that one crew is taking the order of some customers in advance so when they reach the counter they will just give the order sheet. Isn't it convenient?
Also, they have many seats available for their numerous customers.

#1. Shake-Shake Fries
This product has a great taste, and catchy and eco-friendly packaging which costs, 65Php

#2. McFloat
McFloat is the perfect combination for any of the other products of Mcdonald's. The fusion of sundae and cola blew away our taste buds costing 28Php.
If you are on-the-go for desserts, McDonald's put up a dessert center located outside.

After our experience in McDonald's, our final judgment on their food and services ranging from (highest) Excellent to Fair(lowest).
FOOD: Excellent
SERVICE: Good
FACILITIES: Good
CREW: Good
Our overall score on McDonald's is Good.

Jollibee
Jollibee was founded by Tony Tan and his family in year 1978 after starting it as a ice cream parlor on 1975. Jollibee is the largest fast food chain in the Philippines, operating with over 750 stores nationwide.
A couple of hours after we went to McDonald's, We came along to visit Jollibee. This fast food chain is well-known around the country as well as their mascot that is favorable on kids.

As we enter Jollibee, the security guard greeted us with courtesy saying "Hello Sir, welcome po sa Jollibee." All of the crew were oriented properly to greet the customer that way. The crew on the counter immediately entertained us and took our orders.

We ordered Jolly Spaghetti with drinks costing 53Php and Yum Burger costing 30Php. Their spaghetti really catches the taste buds of the Filipino people especially for kids. Their burger is tasty and we can smell the aroma of the patty. Their packaging is also eco-friendly.

We asked for service water to one of the crew. He served us politely even though we didn't order expensive meal.

Base on our experience, we would rate Jollibee from Excellent-Good-Fair.
FOOD: Good
SERVICE: Excellent
FACILITIES: Excellent
CREW: Excellent
Our overall judgment is Excellent.

After our fast food journey, we went home. Even though McDonald's and Jollibee is the two leading fast food company here in the Philippines, they still have difference, maybe because they have different target market and different style of giving their service to satisfy their customer. Lastly, we learned that not all fast service means they give excellent service.

Goodbye! Till next time. Thank you!
